These new unique nappies (patent pending) have a removable inner waterproof pouch which supports any type of absorbing pad, from pre-fold nappies, rectangular folded cloth, Eenee Microfiber cloth and of course our flushable compostable Weenees disposable eco pads.
You do NOT need to launder the Pants every day, just take out the wet pad/nappy and replace with a fresh one, if the inner pouch is soiled, then this can easily be taken out and a spare pouch snap fastened in. The pouch is easy to wash and dry quickly and is the most efficient design yet for containing messy nappies.
Extra inner pouches can be purchased separately in Small size Pouch (for Small Pants (3-6kg) or can be used in Medium Pants (6-12kg) size on smaller babies) or Medium size Pouch for use in Medium and Large (12-16kg) size Pouch Pants.
Now with a baby-soft cotton covered waistband and printed inner lining, the Large size has a double back snap postition to allow adjustment to fit bigger babies. Care instructions: To wash weenees Pouch Pants and Pouches, close Velcro™ tabs, machine wash and line dry or cool tumble dry. Pouches can also simply be rinsed, hung to dry or just aired out and used again as they dry quickly. The Weenees system is designed to keep your baby dry and comfortable and the Earth a lot happier. The Microfiber Nappy inserts are small but super absorbent and super fast drying saving water, energy, wotk etc and the flushable eco Pads really are biodegradable and compostable. The Microfiber insert fits into the snap-in liner (Pouch) of the colorful Weenees Pouch Pants. The liners (Pouches) are made of water resistant, breathable material to keep wetness away. So your baby is never sitting in plastic that can irritate the skin and let's face it; it's icky.
Each pair of ‘Weenees Pouch Pants" comes with a Pouch snapped in and ready to go. You can buy spare pouches because no matter how hard we try, chances are it may get dirty when your baby poops. Two liners (Pouches) means you only need to wash the Weenees every couple of days or so also saving on water, energy work etc. Just swap out the Pouches when/if needed - these can be hand washed or just aired out for a quick re-use or washed and dried with your normal laundry.
Your Weenees Pouch Pants should not get dirty very often. We recommend washing them the same as any other clothing item, and they too can simply get tossed in with your cold or warm laundry and tumble dried. Note: if you need to wash the Weenees due to leaks, please read our tips section as it will most likely be due to a poor fit.
The flushable is bigger than the snap in-liner, and needs to be inserted to create the “u’ shape needed to hold in all the mess. Make sure not to fold any of the flushable when you insert it…just start at one end and press it down as you work your way towards the back.
Flushable refills contains tree farmed fluff pulp and Super-absorber. These lock away cells hold up to 100 times their weight in liquid so your baby stays dry. The outer material of the flushable is all natural fibre and is 100% compostable. The stay dry feel keeps wetness away and ensures your baby is comfortable and happy both day and night !
